That is one very light looking bike. Will you be racing it?

Scales bust but I think it's about 19lbs. Not sure if I'm tough enough to race it!

Anyone want some Shimano XTR parts?

They come up quite often second hand. Think mine were £80 or so.

There's some on ebay for £95, £130 and £165. Not sure I want to pay £100 for battered looking cranks. I'll keep an eye out. Cheers.

First ''real'' ride today, had so much fun riding through the mud :)

Took new bike to Leigh Woods. Bike, trail, gearing etc so good I've strained my grin muscles.

I've got a pair of those m980 cranks for sale. 175mm. They are battered but also cheap (£40). Come with a not-very-round (this only matters if you're planning on using them on a single speed) 32t Superstar narrow wide chainring.

Without a shadow of a doubt that bike on Yertiz is the most fun I've had a on a bike. Move across the road to Stella Nova was harder work (the rocky climb - ouch) but still fun.

Got excited about a pal of mine's Humuhumu-Nukunuku-Apua'a today.

I used to love smashing up that climb on my heavy rigid Steel SSMTB and getting lots of funny looks from people of their carbon full sussers.

got a bouncy fork on my niner now. Resisting the urge to put gears on it quite well

the chaunts saddle is quite sad but I dont want to wreck my proper smps

I rode the double-ended Kona A to work again today because I don't trust the tube in the Kinesis. Think it needs another hit with the shock pump, still needs oil in the front forks and the gearing is too damn low for the road but it makes for a chilled out commute.

The XTR cranks arrived today. Too lazy to fit them to the Inbred just yet.

Yeah - the level of breathing and gurning I was displaying had them getting out the way. I had no peripheral vision just red fringed tunnel vision.
