Or just sell it, and spend the money on some other kind of shit you dont really need but is slightly more relevant to your life at the moment.
Thats what I'd do. -
• #28
If you sell it to me I will let hoops make it rad.
-
• #29
I'd be interested in doing this but maybe also riding it.
Best way of reaching you?

Just need to decide what to build these to.
Omnium cranks are £130 delivered from bike24 which is tempting.
It's also gonna get painted but still working out how/what. Suggestions and ideas welcome

• #34
I think omniums would pretty ugly on this tbh, 7710's would look good or just 75's
-
• #35
this got me thinking and I like the gxp but I'm really not 100% on cranks yet
-
• #36
is @hoops painting this?
-
• #37
I would stay with ori paint ang go with gxp, got it on my gt pulse, super stiff combo
-
• #38
It's an option but given the amount of labour taken with his rad paint designs I'm gonna have to see if I can stretch to that, like most things nice they is pricey - Mario Vaz/armourtex are more the end of budget I had imagined spending on the paint.

silver looks good, figured you meant black.

I've acquired a few bits for this:
Service course SL bars
SLR saddle
120mm 3T arx team stem (logos removed)
Omniums
Lizard skins dsp tapeLikely go for a 3T post and remove the logos
So pretty much just rims - still undecided might just go archetypeAlso have a S80 front wheel for bantz and might keep the chub rear wheel for even more lolz

I'm considering filing down the welds once it's blasted
-
• #46
Surely skimming with filler is a safer option?
-
• #47
Don't do it! It won't be recognisable as a GT track.
-
• #48
Hmmmm
I'll think about it - hopefully dropping it at Armourtex tomorrow. Can I just do a walk in?
-
• #49
Maybe it's been asked a lot of times already, but why most of GTs (track and road) appears to have a curved top tube? Is it just a light trick caused by the tapered tube?
I'd say leave the welds! -
• #50
Yeah I thought that more since removing the sticker and the bare metal exposed below - the above pic does look curved but it's just optical illusion
Let me make it rad, then hang it on the wall.
