The Royce/Carbon wheels posted upthread would be excellent on this build.
DO IT!
I'd also say in this case, drops. please. Risers on this may be well sled but if you can't ride it comfortably with drops then well... just do drops.
Bloody nice looking frame and the cranks/chainring work very well. Noice!

So fucking good.
Was sceptical about how the Olympic zen would look on 75DDs but now I'm convinced.

Potentially the best looking chainring/crank combination I've seen, bar:

Thanks for the suggestion of the wheels.. and those hubs are amazing.
One of the problems is i work away from home in Shanghai and only get back home a couple times a year. So postage would add too much for them. How about a rear disc? and 60mm carbon front? As the Pista wheels are currently off my Pelizzoli.
By the way.. that look/shimano combo is stunning.

ok long over due update and finally it is rolling,
I swapped wheels about from my other bikes and added the rear disk which i converted from the road bike with the help of the zipp track conversion axle. Added the EAI gold 17t rear cog which matches the 53t Zen up front.
Well i tried Nitto black pearl with Nitto drops and the bars just looked odd with the fat frame so put on the 380mm Scatto bars from my other bike for now. So will keep it this way for a while until i decide on what suits both me , the bike and more importantly my riding style.
Rides very nice indeed, Super stiff in every way. Now looking forward to take it to the track in March and see how it goes there.

SPDs, Madfibre and QR need to go

Enough to get it going for now.
Still on the look out for a front wheel, and SPD`s are my every day pedal. Sure when it comes to track, proper pedals will be swapped over.

or i could just stick risers on it then it would all match ;)

Amazing frame but jeez that build got real bad, real quick. Gatorskins on a zipp disk. lol

This had so much potential :(

Geeez tough crowd in here tonight. As i said, i put it together from other parts i had around the house. The main thing was just getting it ride-able rather than just a frame sitting in the house, with view to change parts when i can gather the funds. Hence the zipp was taken off my road bike (including tyre). Sure it is a gatorskin, but as a tubular it is on the wheel for now. At some point will swap it over.
This is still a W.I.P so would appreciate constructive input as i go along with the build, and share your thoughts about any changes.cheers
that paint!
