I've really enjoyed them; I think if you're not cadence-obsessed, it looks cool and works perfectly fine.

My partner rides one, it works great. If you're not stage racing you don't need the exact cadence 100% of the time.
I get that there's a reason that TDF riders don't use them, but for the average person's road riding? Why not.
