If your tools don't fit in here (see picture below), you're taking to much shit with you. This fits easily in any jersey pocket.
And just take the saddlebag off when taking pictures, just like you align wheels and cranks. Your bike will look so much better.

I use a saddle-bag when riding in winter with no mudguards, otherwise the spare tub that you have under the saddle gets covered in crap. In summer you can just toe-strap it under the saddle rails though, so no need to shove it in the bag.
