Many years ago in a town centre in rural France - some chap absolutely bossed me riding 80mm of lasting impression.

It's actually fukin RAD.

Looks like dicks found a new thread to troll and just doesn't understand hhsrb. Go straight to porn, do not pass HH with opinions like that. ;)
You're in the wrong thread pal.
The last two bikes are hhsrb (with maybe some slight pedal issues on both but still)

It's just got no consistency or identity. It's confused as fuck.
I'd fucking love it if it was DA9000 and the wheels were Zipp 60's or just SOME kind of cohesive era and group matching - but it's just like someone's scooped up a load of shit old parts, bought a new set of ridiculous wheels because they were on sale on PBK and just spaffed it all together. On a frame that's too big for them.
-
• #3107
Well, I thought you had better taste. You've changed.
-
• #3108
Thank you
-
• #3109
That's almost the point of hhsrb. It's slave, not supposed to have da9000. That's just a nice road bike what you've described. Completely missed the point of hhsrb.
Edit: also, not saying I'd have it, my taste is my taste, however, that bike is hhsrb. Soz.

Right ok, sorry I mistook the terminology, I thought this thread was about well put together bikes that look bad ass because they've had thought put into them. I shall now be open minded about the builds in this thread now you've clarified that HHSRB is defined as
"Zero effort put in to actually making a decent bike but just a load of ok parts thrown on an ok frame in a way that makes it look a little bit bad ass just because the wheels are deeper than 30mm"
Idiot.

I think it's the gas pipe tubing wit heavy plastic and mustard tones...
Boss.
-
• #3112
Well, I mean when you put it like that...
Ha.
It's not porn though, just remember that. There's a whole other thread for that...
See you next Saturday to discuss further. -
• #3113
I'm with Dick. I think if you're gonna "pimp my ride" there needs to be a bit of cohesion about the build. (Who makes those wheels, BTW?)
-
• #3114
This build is a profanation, forks can F>>>
-
• #3115
I thought it was just unnecessarily expensive components built to a bike that's not actually raced like hhsb is full on track bikes with risers for the road?
-
• #3116
Haha see you Saturday chief! Xoxo
-
• #3117
Exactly!
Ain't nothing HHSB about a knackered 7900/7800/7700 hash up just because it's yellow and got lairy wheels!
-
• #3118
they're not porn, not anti, not rat/beater/frankenbikes, trick, Lo-Pros or polo bikes...
So I thought it was about time we had a thread to discuss and admire our favourite guilty pleasures... I'm not talking HHSB as in colour coded everything, supreme stickers and ironic saddle angle.... Just something kind of awesome that you would actually own or ride.
-
• #3119
Well, that seals it, wouldn't actually own or ride that shit, and it's certainly not something even KIND of awesome!
-
• #3120
I do like the frame though...
I'd just make the effort to build it properly!

Have you forgotten which thread you're in? Many years ago I watched a town centre crit in rural France - some chap absolutely bossed it riding an old Peugeot with 80mm carbon. Made a lasting impression on me.
