Just done the whole thread from start to finish.
Some really sick bikes in here.
Loads of 'Dales and GTs.
It seems to me that there are 3 types of HHSRB (currently)
1 - Masculine, Carbon, spaceship looking radness.
2 - Classic steel with deep carbon rims and bang up to date groupsets.
3 - Any geared road frame which has been moded with baskets/BMX bars etc. A kind of Frankenbike.I love them all but I'm all about classic steal with up to date parts.

I don't think it's necessary to try and narrow down the bikes into "categories"
To me HHSRB is all about free form, following a set formula doesn't guarantee a HHSRB, the best bikes are the ones with character (that merlin for instance), you can't order that from wiggle...
no rules, just rad.
