I'm rolling with risers guys. It's what I like and am comfortable with. Of course I'll have drops occasionally for longer rides and if it gets ridden on the track.
I do need to get a proper lock ring though, that lock ring cog combo is a joke. Indra suggested a Paul Components lock ring so i'll go with that.

I've been a bit lazy, worked on this and nearly finished it but didn't bother posting.
So I got rid of the spacers and slammed the stem.
I then also noted that the EAI cog deserves better than a shitty little lockring, so I went all out and bought a Paul components one.
It rides fab and looks exactly as I wanted. I was pondering replacing the stem with an inverted 6 degree Thompson but now I quite like it as it is. Pedals are temporary, will be putting Shimano SPD pedals on and occasionally switch to straps.
Nah, risers are badass.
