  • Sorry to hear this :-(

    Absolute bargain though.

  • @BareNecessities
    yeah pretty gutted.
In the future i will get a mountain bike once i get out of London and live somewhere for regular riding, but for now just can't justify it.

  • BBrake are Formula Oro 24s if they havent been changed since i put them on

  • Cheers dude.
Sad to see it go but hey ho.

  • Price drop £260.
    Desperate need of money.

  • That's a lot of bike for the money!

  • Indeed it is.
Buy it @Chak you know you want to

  • Totally would If I didn't just finish a hardtail build.
The frames on these were a total shock to testers. They rode better than a lot of 'high end' stuff. Really lively without kicking your ass if you pick up speed.
Good luck with the sale man.

  • So this can be setup as a single speed? I might be interested. I'm waiting on someone to get back to me about an Inbred but this could also fit the bill.

  • yup regular rear mtb hub with single speed conversion kit... choose your gear ratio apply chain and the sliding drops will work perfectly to get nice chain tension, they look identical to mine and they haven't moved a millimetre in a year and a bit of rough offroading
the built in adjuster will hold things nice and solid, similar to a chain tug

  • Sounds good. Now I'm torn though, wait for Inbred bloke (haw haw) or see if @Dakin wants to ride this to the City for me :)

  • more than happy to ride to city for drop off tomorrow evening @hippy?

  • Also @BareNecessities says this is better than Inbred

  • Price drop £260.
    Desperate need of money.

ridiculously good value (already have a genesis and a voodoo in larger sizes tho)

  • Way better...
Inbred is good, but might as well be welded scaffolding.

  • Someone buy the damn thing before I end up buying it back

  • Looks like Inbred guy has boxed the bike. I just need to find someone to bring it to London from Manchester. Pity I didn't see this sooner really but I have always wanted an Inbred so it'll scratch one itch I guess.

If the Inbred thing doesn't happen then I will get back to you but for now I don't have the room for two mtb's so I'll have to wish you GLWTS.

  • Probably right, but the Inbred was the first bike I coveted when I got into singlespeed way back in the day but never owned one. I remember the great Inbred bike stack at the 2003 SSWC in Castlemaine. Fun times..

  • Well the idea is to slow me down.

  • Ok, I'll have it. Fuck it, I'm worth two new bikes..
    I've PM'd you.

  • Yes you are sir.

    Responded to PM

  • ooh, prospect of a comparative review, although a bit apples/oranges

  • BareNecessities says this is better than Inbred

    Did I?

  • Swear it was you?
    Maybe not
    @BareNecessities...
