Late 90s - 2000s bikes

Love all of these, I picked up a bike from around 2000 for winter uses a year back and going into its second winter I must say it's an absolute pleasure to ride and going strong. If it ever needs an over haul this will be a great thread for insperation!

Hmm, that's a fine choice. I might just hang on to my Mapei-liveried Dream frameset; I've scavenged the 7700 groupset off it for my Klein, but now wondering about reinstating it.

It just hit me that all those bicycle were from an era of systematic doping.

I reached the same conclusion when looking for more pics of the USPS bikes.

yeah, those were good looking, but gave me a bit of sick taste in my mouth. same goes for the once giants and pantanis bianchis.

Do you guys really know which bike is related to a doped rider or not?

It's not really which bike belong to whom, but was made during an era where doping is epidemic.

i was looking at a lot of photos of cool trek bikes that all had the same bloke in a yellow t-shirt on them.

So guessing you guys have that sick feeling when you look at the current peloton bikes?
