This is gonna look good. Shame about the paint but good things come to those who wait

Thanks! And also very true - I'm in no particular rush to build it up as i want it to stay nice and only come out in the sunshine!
I also still have a lot of parts to buy and it was looking a bit £££ in the run up to Xmas in any case. Watch this space!

Awesome.
Personally, I would have requested fades on the forks as well, but is going to be ace anyway. -

This paint scheme should be every cyclists response to "why you no wear fluro nodder jacket? "

It is a lot brighter and in your face than I was expecting, probably won't even need lights at night...
If I can find my home made headset press I might have a crack at installing the cups tomorrow, other than that I can build the wheels up thru the week and that's about it for now :-/

Brighter than you were expecting?!' Fluro pink orange fade' was never going to be subtle...
Looks alright :) I've still got your seat clamp binder bolt too, will add to the pile. -

Excellent - ta! Was just doing a bit of trial fitting with the hubs as there was a slight issue even with the old paint job. Basically the rear dropouts are ever so slightly too narrow (due to thickness of paint) and the rear hub tended to jam a bit rather than slide when tensioning the chain. I was hoping blasting and a fresh coat of paint would solve the issue but the paint seems to have gone on quite thick so looks like I need to scrape/file the lower side of each dropout down a bit, le sigh.

Just pull apart the drops when you position it? You'll still be able to walk the hub it into tension if they don't slide freely. No scraping!

Sorry maybe I explained it wrong - they're bang on 120mm spaced but the hub axle is slightly too tight in the dropout slot...
