Yep, lower pic is the new one. Next step is to swap the chainset for something not made by 'Fucking shit always' and possibly some black bar tape (only had white in the spares box). It is a bit....er...white though

I bought a R2 and have mixed feelings about. Tried to sex it up a bit as you have but the bike still doesn't excite me to look at.
However it excels at the main reason i bought it - comfort. I have a separated a/c joint after being hit by a car a while back, and can get beaten up by some bikes over medium- long distances.
On the R2 in combo with Veloflex Record 25s and latex inners I can ride over 50miles without feeling as though I've been mugged.
Also been doing the local club 10's on it (just on the drops) and works really well there too.So, boring to look at, great to ride.

Yep, I probably just need to ride it a bit more to be honest. I just can't get excited about going for a spin on it though, its just a bit....dull

Agree it looked better before. Mostly needs black tape and an all black saddle. I think the R-series bikes are all pretty decent looking frames.
Rotor chainset would sex it up.

sick bikes. but may I ask why you own both?
-
• #334
I guess technically I don't
I found the S2 in 56 a little large, but absolutly bloody loved the bike, so went a bit crazy and bought the S5.
Transferred most of the parts over and made some upgrades.
The S5 was an absolute t*at to internally Di2 cable compared to the S2.
The S2 is currently being re-built for my Girlfrend's dad in a little friendlier spec.
Have a few new bits for the S5 I aim to have updated by the weekend, will post pics once done...

Fitted some new parts to mine today, Etap groupset, some bontrager (I know right) wheels and most importantly some black bar tape. Sorry about the rubbish pic, was taken about 5 minutes ago in the dark...

Still can't see a 2017/18 GB rider not on a UKSI frame cos I'm struggling to find evidence of Cervelo at the World Cup etc
-

I think there were some T4 used but rien de T5GB anywhere. All UKSI.

They never take their A game to world cups, we'll know what's really going on when they get to Apeldoorn at the end of the month.

There was a picture floating around twitter of a load of snapped T5GBs
-
• #346
Oops. Scratch that rumour, sorry. Loads of t5GBs out tonight with the integrated front ends & mono riser aerobars. Pretty much the majority of riders on them today bar a couple and Charlie Tanfield who was on his own t4.
Must have been testing a one off last week... -

Tidied up father's S3 - you don't have to slam that stem to benefit from my work :)

I'm really hoping you've ditched all the white!! Although it looks like the steerer tube is longer in the upper photo which would suggest you've cut it down during the re-fit and the later picture is the lower one. In which case 'no offence' ;)
