Ovalising the downtube tube seems to get over both of these issues - but I can see why T47 is super appealing to those making frames out of oversized metal tubing.

Is it really though? All I'm hearing so far is painfully desperate adjectives to try to describe....the same. The more original is people aggressively nodding and proclaiming it one of the stiffest crank-sets ever made.

Really like Danial and Nathan's paintjob...I have a Paul Smith Kask that has very nice fades with same kind of colour scheme so thinking of going with something along these lines. Perhaps with a bit of stainless steel too.
