That looks as if someone deliberately drove into that outside seating area (which people presumably used for smoking). It looks as if there was little damage to the pub building itself, if any, so definitely looks like a deliberate attack.

Yes, looks a bit like the one in Hertfordshire that stedlocks posted recently.
Here, the car caught fire, and that was presumably what caused the serious injuries.

A swiss Audi driver at 170 km/h managed to use a roundabout as a catapult. He flew 50m into the first floor of a house and burnt it completely down.

Well, that obviously looks as if a bomb hit the house, which it basically did.
Ridiculously high speed, a police chase, that stupid roundabout decoration = perfect storm.
I've long found the lengths to which people go in embellishing roundabouts quite absurd.
Thank God everyone in the house managed to escape.

catapulticalcapital initial.The interview with the witness is in wonderful Schwyzerdütsch, fortunately only spoken slowly, so I can just about understand it. Any faster and I'd have no chance.

It's a fine language, although I'd say it's on the borderline between a dialect and a totally different language altogether. @Cycliste knows some Schwyzerdütsch speakers who need to have their children translate anything in Hochdeutsch for them, because they really don't understand it.
I went on a ride with some of @Cycliste's Schwyzerdütsch speaking friends and they described the ride as 'ein bitzli hügeli'. They weren't wrong.

Yes, the two langualects (I like making up words in case someone hadn't noticed) come close to being mutually unintelligible, but having looked at it a little, I found many of the lexical differences quite easy to follow up. Some friends of my parents spoke very heavy Schwyzerdütsch among themselves, but when they slowed down I could understand most of what they said.
