Will look very nice.

It's here! Really is in excellent condition, just the tiniest ding on the forks and couple of chips. Waiting on bars and a BB before it's rideable, think I might have to go quill as even a 1" adaptor looks quite chunky.
Anyone have any idea what the tubing might be? The shop is still in operation, I've emailed them to see if they have any records. I'm guessing Columbus SL?

I am disappointed.

• #5
get another RiBMo on there!
-
• #6
Ew no, one slow tyre is already too much.

Looks great, definitely go a quill setup. If it's a silly bike and not practicalz at least it can be pretty.
The forks are amazing.
If you wanted to try a silver post, I have a basically new 330mm, 27.2 ritchey classic post that is going unused. You're welcome to try it out if you want.

Yeah, just put silver bits on and think I prefer it.

Seatpost diameter and BB threading?

27.2 and 68mm BSA

sick clearance both front and back, silver stem is deff. an improovement
-
• #12
Yah but no punctures... EVAR.

• #13
Yeah looks much nicer with the silver bits

Rides so nice. I'm a convert to steel. 47x19 is a great gear, spins up very quickly for blatting about the place, and nice and easy skidding. Toe overlap is now A Thing again, need to get used to it.
Needs: Silver drops with a more classic bend (Deda Speciale 26 currently favourites)
Metallic blue fizik tape to match the paint
100mm/25.4mm silver stem for riserz
Nicer seatpost
Couple of links out the chain. -

Very tidy that, looks great fun.

Lovely. Plz no metallic fizik tape.
-
• #18
I reckon it'll work
-
• #19
Ya I think that fizik tape will work
-
• #20
YES! go for it!
Are you keeping the mismatched wheels? -
• #21
I have a matching front, but the Shamal is just so fun to ride. Might be able to get my hands on a rear Shamal, just waiting on someone to get back to me. Probably be too expensive/a tub though.

both wheels (if matched) will look ace, but the raddest thing will be this (if found new/not braked on)

Or blue tyres... :/

Blue anodised Open Pros - hell yeah.
I still need to send you a pic of that seatpost...

That's looking fantastic.
Not many builds can pull off metallic tape, but I think it might just.
This is winging its way to me, nicely solving my problem of not having a silly bike to ride this winter once the Vigorelli gets mudguards, brakes and other sensible things.
Build will probably be something like this:
TB14s to Novatech boltups
Silver stem/risers
Kalloy seatpost/prologo nago
75s with 47t AARN/19T
Spds until i get some ATACs sorted
Quite excited.
