Hmm. Think the site must have broken as my PP didn’t go through. Will try again lol

Well, these turned up today. Amazing service. Nicely packaged, little hand-written note. Slipped them over my commute shoes (size 45 DHB lace-ups with Eggbeat cleats and spacers) and the fit is very snug but am hoping that’ll help keep some of the water out underneath. Quality looks amazing, far better than any Endura or Bontrager versions I’ve had. At £33 posted. I’d call that pretty good value. Just need to test them out when I feel a bit stronger :)

Also really recommend Galibier as well - the toe covers that I bought a couple of years ago we’re fantastic value at 12 quid or something.

Yes, have a pair of those. And also excellent. Just need those winter gloves now...

Nice price. They look tough.
They look good but maybe not for mtb shoes? The sole looks quite closed.

Galibier's service + value is really good. Have made two small orders, the first had a free buff-alike chucked in, and the second an extra pair of gloves because my initial colour choice of tubeless valves (don't think they do them any more) was out of stock.

Love Galibier kit too. Shame about the shit logo

I think they'd be a bit tight for MTB shoes. If I had a pair I'd check for you :( but a size-up might work? You use flat pedals or SPDs?

Two bolt spd style (Time Atacs) with Sidis in the winter.

Ended up returning this endura gilet as the zip started to fray and was impossible to close at home nevermind out on the road. Any other decent insulated gilets that aren't rapha?

Yes - imminent. One colourway is stuck in brexit customs jam. Should be end of next week.

Anyone have any experience of the planet x winter shoes? £50 in the sale, so maybe worth a punt unless they will fall apart within the week? https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/SH365DBER/365x-das-boot-extreme-weather-road-cycling-boot---3-bolt-cleat

I've bought some so will report back when they arrive

Where do you see £50 rather than US$140?
Also, the site is unsecured, even the checkout form...

• #774
I think what he means is that the PX And FLR shoes are the same just rebranded

ah. thanks 👍
Cold finger tips is something I've always had trouble with, its always happened with previously owned gloves for as long as I can remember.
This sounds silly given that I have trouble with cold hands, but I actually hate wearing gloves while on the road bike. I much prefer riding bare hand in the milder months and only really put gloves on in the coldest winter months. But a ride recently over the Campsie hills while they were covered in snow was the last straw. It was unbearably bad and ruined the ride, I've accepted I just need to put up with thicker gloves..
