  • nope. nopenopenope.

  • Uniqlo Legging work brilliantly for this.

The denim version look the business too.

  • Swap your jeans for Winter Softshell Trousers? Worth every penny.

  • Do they have toilets in your place of work? not that hard to remove some knee warmers post ride? I do this all the time when I go to a place with unkown changing facilities. Wear jeans - if cold - knee warmers underneath. Quick change in loo to take off knee warmers.

  • That might work. Any recommendations for knee warmers?

  • Castelli nanoflex have been good to me. Length is generous too.

  • do knee warmers stay up better than leg warmers without bibs?

  • Anyone used these for a long time? Looks pretty great but i'm prone to blowing massive holes in the arse of jeans/trousers and don't wanna spend £90 on some for that to happen

  • GORE knee warmers

  • I've had some for 2+ years. They're really warm so have only seen seasonal use, but they've held up fine. Bit of bobbling here and there but certainly no holes. Not even much wear to speak of in the saddle region.

Speaking of which, they have a gusseted crotch for mad comfortz.

I bought mine online but from what I can gather from the thread, the UK distro is based in London and appears to have been open to people trying stuff on in the past.

  • Sigma Sports are selling the Gabba 2 for £146, plus 10% off if you sign up to the mailing list.

  • Is this the cheapest unpadded wear on bib tight I can buy? http://www.wiggle.co.uk/dhb-vaeon-roubaix-unpadded-bib-tight/ (£39.59)

  • These are the same price, but may be better quality (have never used but considering)

  • What good/nice winter jerseys/jackets are about atm? I need to size down from my one last yeah tbh. The long sleeve Torms ok to wear in this current 0-5º weather?

  • ideally with a base layer and/or gilet.

  • If get something with windstopper. Keep your warm and also semi shower proof. Some have a soft fleece lining so it's comfy.

  • i got the capo dwr lombardia jacket a few weeks ago. basically an alternative to the gabba, similarly shaped, super racefit.
been wearing it with a long sleeve baselayer in temperatures between 10 (starting to get too hot) and 1 C. works vey well for light rain, wet roads and wind. it combines a waterproofed material on the front and back, top of the sleeves, with a roubaix softshell on the side and underarms which is more breathable.

  • Defo Windstopper .. fucking annoying that I bought a castelli windstopper softshell end of last winter which is now too big for me :( Anyone keen on this in L? Or can swap for M. Its the black one.

  • Thanks just ordered in blue for £136

  • Sorry if this has been asked before but can anyone reccomend some decent waterproof over trousers? It's a pain to have to get changed at both ends of a 20 minute commute so something that'll go over jeans would be ace.

  • Mudguard might be cheaper.

  • Getting the bus might be cheaper.

  • That Gabba 2 blue is indeed a very beautiful shade of blue. Great choice. It really bought out my eyes and knocked a couple of kilos off me. But alas, I don't use mudguards so I bought black.

  • ha didnt think of that, it was more for the high viz without actually being high viz points
