I have the same reaction to GVA winning as I do to Valverde, except with Valverde I have a conflicted enjoyment of watching him race.

Really? He's a far more attacking rider than Valverde has ever been.

GVA makes races, he doesn't sit and watch it unfold.

Brammeier is my new favourite pro-cycling twitter troll.

The peloton itself isn't able to agree on weather that was the right decision, so attacking Nibali is bit dumb. And of course he/Astana should think long and hard about targeting a race which could have the stages he's most suited for cancelled. All they've said is they'll target other races in which that's less likely to happen. That just makes sense. Brammeier's being a bit of an idiot.

I think Twitter is great and seeing adults bickering on it like children is a positive step for society.
