I don't mind if London funds the Grand Depart but the funds should definitely come out of the tourism budget rather than the TFL/cycling budget...what you're effectively paying for is visitors to the city rather than a promotion of cycling as a means of transport (where I'd argue the impact is negligible.

Am I right in thinking a lot of riders end up being a bit more comfortable there than other teams? Could be a good change after this season.
