He'll beat him in the sprint at the end.
-
• #46153
I wouldn't count in that yet

Those motorbikes are ruining this stage.

This sounds like a Daily Mail live update.

Vingegaard won more bonus point on the second to last sprint than Pog gained on being second across the finish line?
-
• #46157
Yep, +1s
-
• #46158
Kept his head cool and won by tactics. I like him even more now.

I'm not aware of their work, but if you say so.

Btw, I'd love to see how the peloton negotiates the final descents. Would be way more fun that seeing brief interviews full of platitudes from the GC leaders. Can't recall having seen much of that in Eurosport's coverage, they just cut straight to the interviews.

They don’t get to choose the pictures. French TV do.

UAE worked hard all day yesterday, Jumbo-Visma do the same today and Ineos mug them twice.

What else do you expect with Steve Cummings as DS?
-
• #46165
It's like the haven't realised the team classification is where the real glory is

• #46166
I quite like the new stage hunting Ineos of the last few Tours, even if it is somewhat forced upon them. Makes for a change from them locking things down like they did as Sky.

Great photos! White logo wheels on Pog's bike look very nodder

Nice, didn't I watch Lloyd Flandis gurn and sweat liquid testosterone up there with you in 2006?

....and Poggy has aero wheel rather then climbing wheels as Vingo.
Is Poggy going fast enough to get the aero gain from deep rims up thoughs climbs? Or sitting in the wheels for first 140km?

Nice pix, must be awesome there.

Yes you did, me, you, Huey and Sue kitted out in MTB duds and with our MTB's sitting behind us.

Thanks, its great. Can confirm that Joux Plane is a bastard of a climb but the views from top are worth it.
Descended via Les Gets into Tangines and as it was getting late grabbed a pizza at the local bar and spotted Ned, Millar, Pete Kennaugh and Ellen van Dijk wandering past looking for somewhere to eat. Grabbed them for a selfie and a quick chat and Pete confirmed there's no special significance to that earring, he just wears a earring.

My OH asked earlier whether Pete insists on his stage position in order to give the palm tree maximum airtime

Yep. Glorious.
I mean, couldn't give a shit about Ineos, but the riders in question.
Fair.
