There's a lot of emerging evidence that doing strenuous exercise while you have Covid can be very bad for you.

Given we're talking about professional sportsmen who rely on being well to do their job - why on earth would you not test?

Who was the EF rider, I missed that? And why were they wearing standard EF pink kit? I thought that was a big no no in the Giro due to the Maglia Rosa being the same colour.

To answer my own question, it was Bettiol. But I can't explain the all pink kit and I wonder what the race organisers think about that.

Because it was pissing down and 3 degrees so he probably asked for multiple kit changes and therefore every bit of dry kit his team could get their hands on?

Soudal Quick-Step is disappointed to announce that four more riders from its Giro d’Italia squad have tested positive for Covid-19 and will leave the race.
Following the positive test of maglia rosa Remco Evenepoel on Sunday, a further round of tests were made on the riders and staff that remained in Italy, with Jan Hirt, Josef Cerny, Louis Vervaeke and Mattia Cattaneo unfortunately unable to continue.

It’s a winter jacket he’s wearing over the top of his jersey. (And probably several other layers compiled of whatever the fuck they had in the car so he didn’t freeze)

That makes total sense plus what @user149724 said, I'm just wondering if that risks any trouble with RCS because they are famously protective of the rosa bit of the maglia rosa.

The Giro was there just on Sunday and I guess yesterday's weather is also related. F1 GP in Imola cancelled and Nove Colli postponed to September
