Who did Tao piss off to get left out? Or did he not race there? I did Saturday training with him loads of times
-
• #43010
I think it's because he was always a Hackney boy, rather than VCL or HHYCC. Herne Hill featured in his life but it probably wasn't the foundation that it was to the others.

Tao was doing track league back when I was doing it, so 2009-2012.

Prediction: Rog goes without injury or crash next season but suffers multiple fucking SRAMs!

Rumour has it that JV were too dominant this year so the UCI forced this upon them to level the playing field.
-
• #43015
Is that why you're riding it? Kids of HH forced it on you so group rides were fair!

I’m currently replacing my SRAM equipped bikes with Shimano equipped replacements.

I wonder if Wout and Marianne will be riding SRAM for CX this season? Or maybe from Jan 1st? Last time Wout refused to go 1x after that famous chain drop

Ha, relatable. I took the Campa Super Record group off my Colnago and replaced it with DA as soon as I got it. My Italian insta/strava friends were completely baffled but I am just happy spending less time keeping the bike riding. I would think all bike mechanics prefer the robustness, durability and relative ease of maintenance compared to 'the other brands'.

Solid mens final between GB and Italy.
-
• #43023
Great final! GB looked a bit ragged at times but I guess that’s from riding on the edge. I wonder if these Hope bikes handle a bit funny?
-
• #43024
As was the women’s final.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a squad so delighted with their victory as the Italians were.

I saw the race for bronze but then somehow missed the final, go back and have a watch.
It's stressful watching Ganna ride I've decided. He does these ridiculous negative splits that makes it looks like he's not in with a chance after 3 laps! What a unit though faster hour and IP now.
At least Movistar styled it out with a solar energy subsidiary
