I was watching the S4C coverage of maybe the Giro when I had issues with the Tivo a while back. It's like watching Dutch or Italian or Spanish coverage... lots of random noise with the odd thing you pick out as a rider's name or Team name.

If Ewan can get a puncture on the TT he will have played this tour to perfection

I hate Hatch. He takes pride in being a linguist. He thinks he's pronouncing all the names better than anyone else. Every single r is rolled. But he mangles and swallows them until they all sound the same. The only authentic sound is his dead Blackburn drone.

I get wanting to win the stage but taking a few too many risks for my liking.

I can’t resist piling on. It’s the worst when it’s before anything happens and the air is filled with that - skipping between accents, but more than that, the pronunciation is often slightly different for the same name/team/whatever. It’s so distracting.
