what level of racing are you guys doing to consume gels?! whats wrong with a greggs sausage roll?

Did a gel on Tuesday night somewhere around Star Hill.

It didn't appear to help much.

It really didn't.

I'd have preferred a sausage roll tbh.

I only had Haribo.

I had vimpto jelly babies but was "saving them for later". Ate them yesterday. 7/5

Nasty little crash then when a rider, a press bike and a team car all tried to squeeze into one lane - just as a rider in front went down, forcing the team car to emergency brake.

Looked like the rider in front was clipped by a motorbike as well causing them to go down.

Even worse then - I didn't see what caused the initial crash, but the chain reaction was a mess...

this is the problem with early/mid noughties roadies, you have accepted gels as status quo cycling food
