Jumbo-Visma withdraw from the Tour de Suisse due to covid.
-
• #40156
Yes. It is not great with the tour just around the corner.

I think the core elements of their tour squad were at the Dauphine though I thought? Kuss obvious problem and maybe Dennis but the last list I saw on PCS didn't have Rohan Dennis in the tour team.

I was responding to asgreen. But also worried about Vingegaard now

His right arm - how tf do you get road rash on top of it like that?
-
• #40160
(Is this more acceptable than gravel content?)

Am I reading correctly that FDJ have 4 riders in a break of 6?
(And if so, which of the DSM/Tirol-KTM riders should I bung a tenner on?) -
• #40165
Yes, correct.

• #40166
thanks
-
• #40167
Well the DSM kid should be doing f-all as his team are chasing behind.
But maybe if he doesn't help, and the gap is falling, he won't get to use his potentially fresher legs anyway

Remco has many watts, few kilos and a good TT, so why can’t he climb?
-
• #40169
he forgot
-
• #40170
There is more to climbing than weight and watts.
-
• #40171
There is?
-
• #40172
Tour of Norway says otherwise
I think it’s more he can’t climb big climbs day after day
-
• #40173
That’s my question as a statement, which presents the impression that you know the answer.
-
• #40174
Remco isn’t a pain wizard
-
• #40175
Pain from lactate? I’m not aware that the body produces it more or differently due to gradient vs a continuous TT effort. Efforts in high gears with reduced momentum on a climb are different though. Is that it? And the psychology of climbing is different to TTs, obviously.
I hear the back-to-back day thing. But yesterday wasn’t that bad.
Is heat his problem?
Ohh I know!
So into this. And it comes at a sore time mourning Asgreen's crash
