It’s worth watching it through to see how different it is to the UCI scene and why it’s proving popular. The mass-start format presents challenges but makes it a great event for fans.

I'm not a gravel race hater, I did the national champs last year, but this is the Pro Cycling thread. How many Unbound racers are paid a full time wage to race their bikes? Gravel thread is over there somewhere

Given Sagan gets paid about £80k per day racing, I think it counts as professional.

Dygert rides from WMN whatever they're now called

"rides" may be over-stating things. In two seasons with them, she's done four race days; National ITT, Olympic TT and RR and Het Nieuwsblad, where she was a DNF.

I was thinking to add that addendum. Whatever her views and transgressions are, I can empathise with how hard the road to recovery is. Perhaps she's done I dunno. It's sad to see the demise of an athlete from premature circumstances.
