Isn’t he riding the tour as well? Thinking fantasy team. Concerned he’s going to bang his knee in week two and drop the mic.

He’s said in all the pre-race interviews that he wants to finish the race as he thinks it’ll aid his development as a rider. So he’s saying the right things.

Rumour has it that RCS have paid quite a lot of money to have him on the start list so I’d imagine that unless he’s sick or injured then he’ll stay the course.

He does plan to ride the Tour too though, so if he’s on his knees in the final week he might drop out.

I think the best answer is: who knows?

Commenting on the high speed of the first hour Kelly chips in “on a club ride you might average 36-38kph over a 100k when out with friends or on a club ride”. Glad I’m not a member of that club. A lot of solo rides for me.
