  • Lol. And this sounds like a ridic piece of technology. Surprised it isn't April fools Day.

  • It does look a bit light on winners doesn’t it?

  • I think it makes sense. A lot of riders said running low pressure to cope with wet cobbles last year made the road sections difficult.

I can definitely see it catching on with gravel riders.

  • DSM also riding custom rob english bikes at PR

  • €3998 euro's - gravel riders with deep pockets than. Free worldwide shipping though!

  • And the other way around, Moscon bouncing all over the place on the cobbles after a bike change. Interesting tech.

  • Privateers, bro

  • predicted PR podium

    1 haino
    2 degenkolb
    3 viviani

  • I’d love to see Kristoff take it. He looks to have the form.

Ganna is absolutely all in but unless I’m mistaken doesn’t seem to have ridden any of the cobbled classics in preparation. He won the junior race though so he’s obviously no mug.

  • I will also keep backing Tratnik because he’s going to win a big race one day.

Off to Jumbo next year by all accounts.

  • Is that for a wheelset???

  • Kristoff has never gone well at Roubaix. I would love to see him win though.

There is no evidence that Ganna can be competitive in a monument.

Van Der Poel surely 5 star favourite.

  • If Brits can stay out of his way this is Mads P's to loose. He has track sprinting experience + outstanding cobble-ready physique

  • user amey pls clamp down on the outrageous haino shade itt

  • Why isn't Sir Tim Pidcock riding PR?

  • I would agree on MVDP but I think the role luck plays at PR means it’s a lot less likely the strongest rider wins.

    The bookies obviously don’t agree/fancy a kicking.

  • Is Pog on the start list?

  • I think it's often the other way round. It's such a brutal race that everyone gets "bad luck" and only the strongest can keep riding back from mishaps. Also, the weaker riders are more likely to be on the limit and have to pick worse lines following the wheels. Like Flanders, it's a race where the winner is often one of the favourites. Even in a surprise winner year, the podium is normally stacked.

  • Can see Mohoric and Politt being in the mix.

  • No. His picture last week was taken during a recon of the Tour stage that features cobbles.

  • Fairly poor bet at 14-1 then.

  • In the year Hayden won, I’d say only Boonen was a favourite among that quartet who came into the velodrome.

I’m not saying it’s wide open but there’s certainly more chance for things to go wrong for one of the favourites.

  • There's always an exception but glance your eyes over the list of winners in the last 20 years and only him, Van Summeren and maybe O Grady were not topfavorieten
