You can't condemn him for carrying extra crash protection.

I don’t really care about puppy paws, but the banning of the supertuck was one of the low points of the past year. That’s including the pandemic.

I think it was Daniel Friebe who was speculating that this is part of their business model; they sign promising young riders, some develop, others don't like the hands on approach they have, and look to leave. The team let them, but get some cash in compensation as they are usually on long term contracts.
