I cycled pass a ski jumping slope yesterday.

I wonder if there are any pro cyclists who came to the sport late after starting out in ski jumping or distance running.

If there are I feel we should be told.

Annoyingly I’m in Catalonia for the vuelta and it comes nowhere near us! I’ve already packed some new tyres for my bike ready to ride over and watch it somewhere. Arse

Vuelta normally by-passes Catalunya, I guess because the region pays for the Volta instead?

I think it’s a mix. Mainly just the Catalans not wanting to pay for visits when they have their own race. Unfortunately we aren’t usually there for the Volta but might try if things are back to normal next year.

Without seeing the kit we would never know I guess. Might all be team approved supplier kit but not team colours so he can ride around incognito

A lot of teams now provide more discreet training kit.

More pertinently, I'd have thought riding around in anything branded 'Israel' comes with an element of risk in many parts of the world.
