We’ve gone back five years at the Vuelta a Burgos - Aru and Bardet on the attack.
-
• #36208
The three up of Landa, Pozzovivo and Nieve trying to chase down Bardet is lol-some.

Is Vino coming back? PremierTech, who stepped up to be co-sponsor with Astana this year, have announced they are pulling out of supporting Astana, and look like they will looking to sponsor someone else.

Hearing Hugh Carthy post-race makes me want to improve my Spanish. He speaks it well.
-
• #36217
Did it the hard way too... just threw himself into a Spanish speaking environment completely (team, city etc).

Best way to do it , immerse yourself in the culture and dialect the slang words and expressions .

There were stories back in June mentioning some link with Bouhanni leaving.
He was phenomenal 2016-18, but so unlucky; 200 metres away from winning Milan-San Remo 2016 and loses his front wheel, gets COVID twice in 2020, and UAE clearly won't be sprinting for shit for a few years so he gets the tin tack.

• #36223
Nine summit finishes in Vuelta!
-
• #36224
UAE have signed Ackermann and Hodeg so they seem to have some ideas about sprinting.
-
• #36225
Bouhanni is under contract until the end of 2023, so if he is leaving it's going to come at a price.
And?
