Roglic dislocated his shoulder in the first crash he had

Jesus, 70km with a dislocated shoulder...

That’s epic.
But that chap didn’t have to steer with his handlebars and only finish 3m off the leaders.
These endurance types are pretty tough.... -

Ouch! Surprised he got back on the bike after that.

Fuckin hell. Wonder if the sign took much of the energy?

Pleased for Mads Wurtz Schmidt after how much he appeared to suffer on the final climb on Saturday.

Reminds me a bit of Cavendish's crash at San Remo.

It would have been reduced at the scene.

I wonder what Van Aert's season in 2022 will look like. "The experiment" has clearly been a success, in that he can absolutely compete over a week, but how quickly will he look to adapt to win 1 week races. I guess he wouldn't have needed to if it weren't for Pogacar.
-
• #31814
I'm guessing he won't want to adapt to the detriment of the classics and sprint stages until he has a few more in the bank.

Heinrich Haussler 501 - 1 to win Milan San Remo. Worth a quid.

Wasn't expecting that from Ganna. Means Wout really has a chance for today's stage

Ooof - just lumped on e/w thanks. Kwiatkowski at 100-1 too.
Everybody is attractive odds apart from WVA and MVDP.

Van Aert crushing the TT. Absolutely incredible stuff.
Pogacar fourth too.

• #31820
Hard to say who was most impressive at Tirreno. This season is going to be good.
-
• #31821
MVDP’s ride on Sunday will live longest in the memory for me. It’s not even mid March and we’ve already seen some phenomenal things from him. I hope he can keep it going through to Flanders and Roubaix but surely he’s going to start tailing off soon?
-
• #31822
Ineos looking a bit undercooked though.
Obviously its all part of their peaking at the last week of the grand tour tactics, but still.Pogacar dominating like a 2013/2014 Froome.
-
• #31823
Is it going to be a great season?
In the classics it looks like a slugging match between WVA and MVDP and in the Tour between Pogacar and Primoz with JA potentially providing a bit of extra spice. There'll presumably be a bit more competition in Giro and Vuelta.

Every other team has to respond to the cards on the table.
Quickstep have mentioned a strategy to “isolate MvdP” for Flanders. I want to see that.

They said the same thing about Strade Bianche, although they did have a bit of misfortune with punctures etc.
Look at that bottom bracket;)
