  • I can't look at - but also can't look away from - that arm. Oh god.

  • Grow up. Have you never watch Casualty?

Pleased to see Greipl get a win.

Hope Contador's not hurt. I don't really like him but this race needs him I think.

  • Hey, why don't you go post a picture of Pozzovivo hitting the deck from the other day too? That was fun to look at.

  • Tomorrow looks mega. 264km. If Contador's arm is sore, it will hurt after seven-plus hours in the saddle.

  • Contador has a dislocated shoulder, team medical staff will assess in the morning but they hope he can start.

  • I think you mean his arm was entirely ripped off but it will be ok in time for the Tour.

  • Not been a good Giro for spectator participation really.

  • You are right, Leathal Weapon 2 he will be fine.

  • Those Canon Lenses are pretty heavy and to be honest at that angle he needed a wide angle anyway.
Matt Rendel says he has had a tough past so this is not going to help.

    Good luck to him.

  • It is since the era of the Romans that watching other people suffering sells more than sex.

And then we wonder why people vote Conservative.

  • Daniele has a message

  • Is that mr bendybones?

  • yep

  • Rude!

  • fuckin spectating cunts. this has been an awesome tour so far but these fuckers are doing their best to ruin it.

  • but great to see that picture of dc. cheers @dubtap

  • Not bad pulling the middle finger with a scomposed humerus fracture! I think I know who's this finger for :)

  • It must be for the weekly Conservative magazine The Spectator. His way to be thankful. Or maybe just a coincidence. So far.

  • Lotto worked for that yesterday... Always nice to see Greipel win

  • Contador is starting today. Could be worse days to see how your recently dislocated shoulder is feeling, but there's certainly got to be better.

  • Shall we have a sweepstake on the distance he climbs off at?

I think he'll last to the first feed at 95.2 kms.

  • He'll be ok today I reckon, huddling grimly in a swarm of fluro. Tomorrow could be a different matter, I suspect.

  • (looking for that pic lead me to this lovely interview, well worth a read: http://www.bikeraceinfo.com/oralhistory/magni.html
I've not done much reading about Magni before. He sounds like a splendid chap.)

  • Just don't read about his wartime activities.
