Maybe they already have a couple of pink ones in his size and just need to dip one in bleach to make it white.

If he pulls it off tomorrow, how many british grand tour wins will there have been since 2012?
-
• #28954
There's been ten since 2011;
Froome 7
Thomas 1
Wiggins 1
Yates 1 -

Thanks, that's insane. Well done UK 👏

Well done UK 👏
Yep as a country we have done really well, IMO.

first scottish GT winner potentially (don't mention the stolen vuelta)

Two without asterisks.

Make that one. I forgot about Yates’ drugs ban.

Are Giro! 🇬🇧

Right. Just been out to clear the gutters and now back for the Vuelta finish.

Why are some of jumbo on black and some on celeste bikes - are they different models?
-
• #28963
The black ones are a lighter paint finish I believe?
-
• #28964
Ah yes. Seems so. Why wouldn't they all be using the black then if the celeste is a bit porky?

Dan Martin like a fly stuck in a web on that tumble
-
• #28966
A money thing probably.
They are changing bike sponsor next year I think? -

lol

Step aside Lemond and Fignon. This is how you do a final stage TT.
-
• #28969
They should settle it like real men. Five laps of Palace on junior gears.

Arnaud Demare zipping up his jersey and celebrating as he crossed the line with a lap to go.
He's like a likeable (and in 2020, successful, Sagan).

That was top insight #1.
#2 is obvious, but how great has Rohan Dennis been? Considering he left his last GT under a cloud, and then got himself in some trouble during lockdown, with all the rumours about him being too difficult etc, it was hard to imagine him emerging as the most important domestique to a podium finisher.
I'm pleased for him because he's done brilliantly.

Bit of bants/high-level mind games on niche Facebook groups. Thought you all might appreciate - what won’t these riders do for marginal gains.

Vuelta chat... Roglic looked to have gapped a few at the top of the finish ramp, only for the times to be neutralised 'cos Dan Martin fell off. Is this an early sign of another doomed gc bid...

Despite what people might suggest, seems like Ineos is a supportive, nice team to ride for?
People are well paid, they seem to get on well with each other, no rider seems to complain about the team and their teammates.
They have the resources and setup to get the most out of their riders, and if the biggest challenge with a rider like Dennis was his mind/motivation, they seem to have got that sorted.
Probably the best team to be at if he wanted to aim for GC. Which might be on the cards if he’s always going to come second to Ganna? (Who is probably going to win tomorrow)
Hopefully Castelli being a sponsor means he won’t have to spend all evening getting measured up...
