The GCN is mobile-only at the moment, I think, if that's an issue.

very sceptical that a lot of these races are even going to go ahead... the signs are not good from the early races which have been put on

You can cast it though, they say. Not had any experience with this though.

5 even, counting the Worlds which was her last race before the Omloop. What a champ indeed. There's talk of a Jumbo Visma women's team, they're eying Vos and Van Vleuten. And if they can convince Van der Breggen not to retire... that will be some squad to beat.

Van Vleuten said they hadn't even been in contact as of a few days ago. Gamesmanship to get Vos to commit quickly?

After months of nothing, surprised and annoyed that there's no Eurosport coverage of Velta a Burgos. Looks like Evenepoel is going for solo attack victory

'according to Spanish TV commentors Leemreize lost a find on his right hand due to the consequence of the fall'- fucken hell, the previously unseen disc brake menace?

I suspect it's the usual playbook, yes. We'll see when the team is presented ;-)

His team has tweeted the surgery on his fingertip was succesful. So the "losing a finger" was a bit exaggerated.

Way back, Mikel Zarrabeitia of ONCE lost the tip of his finger in a race when he tried to adjust the computer sensor magnet on one of his spokes.
He admitted he was an idiot afterwards.

I can see the odd one day race going ahead, but surely they're going to struggle pulling off a three week GT?

We’re four days into the Vuelta a Burgos without major incident, so it’s totally feasible from a protocol and logistics perspective. The unknown is the virus playing ball.

Sound the “team trucks getting robbed in Italy” klaxon; Trek Segafredo ladies letting us know racing is really back.

"The entire health system is a big joke. In my opinion, it is on the verge of locking up healthy people," Dillier told Swiss newspaper Blick. "It's just not right."
"I'm really bummed by this. I am the healthiest person in the world.

Am I misunderstanding? He wants to race despite being COVID positive?
-
• #25996
I assume he's suggesting it's a false positive. Still, seems ridiculous to dispute it. Guess he was going well this week
-

Not sure what he means, or when he gave those quotes, but he seems like exactly the sort of fool that thinks he is different and the virus isn't a problem for him. The sort of fool that is helping to spread it around.

WAFC.
I hope he doesn’t spend his quarantine seeing elderly relatives and get some genuine perspective on the issue...

that was a bit boring and predictable

For a moment I thought you meant Burgos, which was a great old ding-dong.
This may be the wrong place for this question - Where are people planning on watching coverage this year? I’ve had Eurosport subscription in the past but I’m drawn to the GCN race thingymebob. It’s cheaper at the moment too...
