Break has finally gone, 33 riders with Quintana, Bardet, Adam Yates, Tim Wells a amongst them.

Trek have given up on defending their lead in the team competition over Movistar. The latter have 3 riders in the break, Trek just one.

Dimension Data were chasing too, no one knows why, probably including them.

Quintana has Amador and Verona with him just to make sure he gets dropped at some point...

Absolutely shocking tour from them. If you leave your sprinter out, you’ve got to at least try something else.

Quintana is trolling his teammates by getting in break I presume?

He's not far short of being in yellow (on the road)

To be honest, if he doesn't crack he's got a good chance of taking a lot of time back and two teammates to support him.

In reality, I suspect he'll fall back and Amador will get let off the leash to go for a stage win.

That's why I think he is trolling, can't see other teams letting him get that much time back.
