Will they do enough for me to win my next sportive?
Only if your name is Keith.

Timed it so well, no-one was marking him and was able to come from behind at speed.
Sagan complaining about the heat I see.

Ian Cleverley, Rouleur Editor in Chief, was making the point on Twitter that for all his protestations about the CPA, Sagan failed to show to vote in the CPA Presidential elections at the Worlds last year.
Like so many of the top names, he only cares about the work of the CPA when it directly impacts him.

There was generally some top bants yesterday as it was such a quiet stage.
My favourite was André Greipel sat behind Ineos pretending to whip them :)
His sprinting ability doesn't seem in danger of returning but he also got off his bike and ran across the finish line at La Planche des Belles Filles...

Wasn’t the CPA ballot held at a time that made it really inconvenient for most people to vote?
Millar was whining about that. I think the turnout was generally pretty low.

Quite a few riders made the effort to get there. Sagan could’ve if it mattered to him.
He could have also picked up Millar’s objections to the voting process and echoed them as his voice carries a lot of weight.

"his fingers around the phrase 'my moment' to indicate that he was referring to a hypothetical situations when he is on the attack himself."
All of his attacks have been hypothetical for the last few years

Rohan Dennis has been given until next Thursday to buy himself out of his Bahrain-Merida contract.

Does anyone have a rough idea of this expense? I know his wages are circa 1m euros.
According to insty he is back in adelaide. Interesting defence of rohan by another pro:https://twitter.com/Paul_Wheatcroft/status/1153591414644793344

Are you offering to pay it?

The basic plan is for him to deregister as a uci pro, and find true glory as my lead out at hog hill 3/4s. other duties may include; drafting me back into bunch after being dropped

On the more trivial matter of today's stage. If the break doesnt win, Sagan, Matthews or maybe Trentin/GVA.

Cummings to do something/anything today?

• #23016
Is he still in the race? In fact, has anyone seen him at all in this Tour?

huge breakaway, last chance for anyone that has not shown himself yet

• #23020
He is but I presume that's a rhetorical question :)
He has said he's not been having a great time, he told the Cycling Podcast he was struggling and he's currently in 140th place. Shame as we all love a mad Stevie breakaway right?

Isn't he a bit old for all that now?

Why has Zwift changed the voiceover to an annoying American that says, “wait, is that Geraint?” (Instead of “G”) ?? That advert is even more annoying now.

Interesting to read that Dennis's teammates supporting him-Nibs supposedly critical of the team management too:

Yeah spotted him at the back of the peloton as usual yesterday. Moronic choice over Cab. Yes Cav's form was unknown, but the sprints have been open. He would have been at the sharp end of a few I am sure.
