Not really, no. Delgado got up the road, Millar's team went missing in action, there was some confusion on the time gaps, and by the time the Peugeot management knew what was going on and started trying to make deals with other teams to help him, it was too late.
Spanish teams helped more through inaction rather than working to make Millar lose.

Nibs apparently had a "poorly tummy" on itt day.
It's not surprising. -

Vos and Jala did the final climb from the corner to finish line in La Course/TT yesterday in identical times

WillMelling:
The gap should be a bit wider by now, as hippy rode through there recently.

Bernal looked like the rider that hadn’t had any salmon mousse.

To be fair Thomas hasn't shown the form he had last season at any point this season.

Nice to see the French lighting up the tour this year. Gaudu impressive yesterday. Question marks over allaphillipes performance?

Can someone enlighten me as to the strategy and tactics of Movistar?

If you doesn't pop spectacularly in the 3rd week there will be. He appears to have expended a huge amount of energy so far, can't imagine that's sustainable for 3 weeks. Very reminiscent of Yates in the Giro.

No

I'm not even sure Movistar could

Stage win for Landa? - presume Quintana had already radiod in indicating he didn’t have the legs
-
• #22869
Movistar said they had no idea Quintana was having a bad day until he cracked. Great team work there.
If EF and Movistar were the only teams in a race they would both still loose.

There showed an interview with Thomas during the race from that morning. Looked like he knew already he wasn't in a good place at that stage.

I rode through there in 2009 so actually there shouldn't be much change.

I just stumbled upon a discussion elsewhere claiming that certain GC contenders have pushed themselves too far and are due to crack badly before the end of the tour. What does lufguss think?

Movistar seem to be getting it right today.

Which contenders? I can't see that

Well dan martin richie port enrique mass bardet, and at least one yates are a few that come to mind. Saying that Quintana is in the break today .
It wasn't just Thomas off the pace today from Ineos, Kwiatkowski, Moscon and, to a lesser extent, Poels were all below par. I wonder if they have a bug going round the team?
