  • I have been on a 3 week holiday; what has been happening? Can someone summaries in least possible words? highlights? kthxbai

  • @dan re Kristoff

He rode hard in the TT in de Panne on Thursday.

  • And the first (?) stage where he won from a break.

  • Katusha are flying and sharing the wins . Boonen cancellara are injured geraint is team leader sagan is losing the will to live and or win!

  • MTN continuing a terrible season with 6 riders climbing off and Tyler Farrar scraping a top 60 finish.

  • An 18 minute TT? Hardly counts really.

@andyp I had missed that stage. How much work did he do?

  • I'll kindly ask you to take your rationality and even-handedness out of any discussion regarding of the black white and yellow charlatans. A beer prime is going to be their biggest result of the year.

  • Depends who you believe but the weight difference between them is ~4-6kg. Throw that into analyticycling and see what time difference it makes..

  • see what time difference it makes...

about 6-7 seconds on the Paterberg I guess

    handy tool, cheers

  • Hennyway. That's all finished now.

Nice line up for the tour of the baskervilles.

Quintana is presumably a safe bet for the win. Both Yatesies are there.

Doing it right. The forum's favourite team.

  • Fair point.

That gear he was churning yesterday though! I bet his legs are smarting today somewhat.

Any news on Boonen riding Roubaix? Not much chance surely but might give EQS an option.

  • He's not riding. Even if he was he'd be in no state to influence the race.

  • Lars Boom got his best result ever at Flanders. If it rains in Roubaix he has a good chance surely.

  • Bling is the new Sagz who is the new Eddy Boss

  • History suggests otherwise. He's been 5th, 4th and 1st in the last three editions of Flanders. His best result at Roubaix was 9th in 2013, which is his best result in the race by some distance.

Maybe he's right and it doesn't suit him. Flanders is all about short bursts of high power on cobbled climbs, Roubaix is more about longer sustained bursts of power on flat cobbles, a subtle difference.

  • Bling is the new Sagz who is the new Eddy Boss

Sagz is the new Eddy (The Bridesmaid) Boss.

  • Is Bling the new Sagz?

    Not Stybar/Kristoff/Degenkolb?

The Green Jersey fight could be interesting this year.

  • Lots of riders around in that mould now. Makes it really interesting.

Matthews is probably the best climber of them all. Reckons he can win Amstel Gold.

  • Pais Vasco: will today's finish be as exciting as yesterday's?

  • Did you see the posts that caused yesterday's crash? Two poles, approx a metre high, 3 metres apart, a metre or so from the kerb with a small traffic cone on top of each. Welcome to Spain.

  • Today's Wiggins Watch.

The forecast for the week ahead suggests we're in for a dry and dusty Paris-Roubaix. Which suits Wiggins.
