Good effort by sagan avermaet

Why is Terpstra riding? I'm still amazed by how well Kristoff dealt with the climbs. I Think Thomas suffered from being marked out of it.

Sagan wins!

I love how Kirkby tells you the telephoto foreshortens things and then thinks van Avermart might close the gap

I'm amazed they let Kristoff and Terpstra off the front on the flat.

Terpstra pulled out of Kristoff's slipstream and then he realised he didn't have a prayer.
Kristoff is an absolute beast. Looked cooked at 4kn out. Not sure if he was bluffing.
Only saw the last 10km so looking forward to a replay. How on earth was Kristoff allowed to get away with such a strong rider?

Fifth for Benoot. Only rode his first race with a radio two weeks ago.

Read alot recently about how riders never ever do well in their first classics races and then 21 yo neo pro Tiesj Benoot finishes 5th in his second ever WT race. He's still at university .

Terpstra and Kristoff got the gap and the rest just looked to Rowe and Thomas to close it down, no-one else did a proper turn until it was too late

Just got back from my local pub, somehow I managed persuading the bar staff switching from live football too live cycling :)

Sit-in sprinter, what sit-in sprinter!?

It wasn't on the flat, they went over the top of a tarmac climb.
Once again Sky get their tactics wrong in a one day race. What's the point of being all over the front for 200 kms if it leaves your leader isolated in the final 30 kms when having team mates to close gaps is essential? Thomas is never going to win a sprint so he needs to be in touching distance of the leaders on the Kwaremont.
I don't know why, but I hope Sagan pulls this off.
