TGH looks like he could be Bernal’s lieutenant in the high mountains for the next decade.

Sky get hammered for the way they’ve developed young riders. Partly justified I suppose but it looks like they’re handling these two well.

Do you think they will stay at Sky for that long?

With the change and success in mitchel scott you would think they would be looking for new talent as well .

I don’t think Sky will be sponsoring a team in three years time. Toxic now.

They still haven’t had a rider sanctioned for an anti-doping offence whilst riding for the team. That may change, but the furore surrounding them is an artificial creation of certain sectors of the British media.

They’ve got Ewan, Yates x 2 and Chaves, so I think they might need more younger domestiques.

Sky nabbed loads of young talent, and there’s not enough GTs for all of them, so some will fall by the wayside, especially if they don’t live up to potential.

Having said that, I don’t think that Sky would support a rider in the same way that Orica looked after Chaves.

Not really. Abuse of TUEs and an AAF.

It’s more the way they handled the jiffy case and DCMS inquiry that I find distasteful.

I wouldn’t join them if I was a young rider.

How about Inxtauski? He’s in his third season at Sky and has barely raced due to glandular fever but they’ve stuck with him, even renewing his contract.

Two things I like about Simon Yates:

1. He has stopped saying "for sure" as much (or was that Adam?)
   
2. When they just asked him about riding on the day of the Royal Wedding, his answer was "and the FA Cup Final," rather than acknowledging it. Good lad.

I had that when i was 19. It's horrible, I think Mark C got off really light with it. He was very lucky.
