or just realise that if you don't like cycling in the rain and wind then don't become a pro cyclist.

Fair enough. Ciolek got caught in a crash that wasn't his fault, Bauer's was entirely his own, it was douchbagery of the highest order to take it out on that bike. I'm sure his paymasters at Cannondale were overjoyed

From watching it on the telly box it looked like he was taking off his jacket whilst simultaneously taking on a musette, then he fell over

I don't judge any rider for a sense of humour failure in those conditions.

I think chucking your bike about after catching your own jacket in it is a bit more than a sense of humour fail, more like a tantrum.

I think any reaction when having to race in conditions like yesterday's is reasonable.

The incident was daft, he had a musette slung over one shoulder, trying to get a jacket off the other, and was going slow as he exited the feed station. To then chuck around several grands worth of the sponsor's equipment was an over-reaction to a problem you created. But yes the weather was bad.

You should let Oleg know you're available, Jimmy. He needs someone in the team who will make him look like a reasonable and sympathetic person.

He already has a CV and a cover letter, just waiting for the call
