For me, the Omloop is the first proper race of the season, but I enjoy watching the warm up races, especially the Tour of Qatar for the cross wind action.

I really hope he can win there again. I think he has a great chance with OPQS EQS. That would be significant for him (at this stage in his career) don't you think?

@andyp ah yes, we don't get to see much echelon racing so that would be nice. struggling to find the route of this year's ToQ edition on the Le Tour site though. oh well, there's probably only 4 to 5 corners in every stage again...

Strade Bianche is the only race that comes near Paris Roubaix (might even surpass it) in terms of sheer awesomeness and necessitation of superb bike handling skills.

It is however let down by totally crappy coverage.

Italy mostly isn't Tuscany though. Strada Bianche is fantastic but I also love the urban racing. Those roads are shit too, with added dogs, badly parked fiats, and crowds.

I'd hate to choose between them but it seems that's what the organisers have done.

That Trek Factory Racing jersey is the 2014 one, this year's has white shoulders and arms and some red detailing (was released today).

It's only Garmin that has really changed. Movistar is more blue than that picture shows. Bora are only pro conti anyway.

Surely it's more significant what the jerseys look like from the back for identifying teams anyway.
