  • Totally idiotic.

  • Yes. He stopped in the carriageway. Bastard.

  • I thought it was moving, but they haven't replayed so I'm not sure now.

  • Why didn't he ride off the road? I.e. The police bike

  • It was stationery.

  • They've replayed it a couple of times on eurosport. Bike was stopped ahead of peloton. To be fair, don't know if he'd literally just sped ahead and stopped or been there a while, but peloton definitely rode into what appeared to be a stationary motorbike at the far left of the road.

  • It was stationary, right? On the side of the road? Not judging here, and obviously not the best thing in the world, but you would think that's where they should be if they need to stop. I've seen the peloton get around worse.

  • rip sky

  • although I have to say I dont have much sympathy for them anywayz so no hard feelings

  • Thomas is back on and Yates hit the ground but was up quickly.

I don't want Sky to do well in this race but at the same time I don't want them to be taken out by something dumb like that.

  • The ironic thing is that from the replay it looked like Sky actually seemed well-placed to get around it and the Sunweb rider, who wasn't, hit them.

  • Kelderman's not exactly known to be super sharp and focused on the road, just chatted about that this morning with a mate, who rode with him in junior and U23 categories. Stupid fucking unlucky though, and the thing should not have been there. You stop at the right side of the road in races, not the left.

  • shit's getting real on the climb now

  • You stop at the right side of the road in races, not the left.

    Good point.

  • Also shouldn't they pull in somewhere where there's space? Having now watched the replay it seemed to be sticking out quite a lot.

Also @tommmmmmm is right I think the Sunweb rider hit first.

  • I don't want Bob to fall back I like Bob.

  • TVG - how does he keep getting the chance to lead at GTs?

  • Tejay dropped.

  • Taken a bit of wind out of what is pretty awesome climbing.

  • Kruiswijk to go next

  • Movistar's strength is impressive. Pulling the peloton back to the break, and still having 2 support riders for Nairo at this stage is massive.

    TVG - !!!

  • Movistar looks like the Sky a couple of years ago.

  • Tom Dumoulin looks impressive.

  • Nibali looking good

  • I was just going to say that Windmills is doing a great job to still be up there.
