  • TJ sucks, DQ.

  • Bette without the comma.
    TJ sucks D.

  • :)

  • riders shifting and steering quickly across the center line (gutter) between the concrete slabs that make up Flemish roads... always a beautiful sight. #E3

  • I thought it was on yesterday? I watched a recording and then they said "Cancellara" and I'm like 'I don't fink so!'. It's tricky when Sagan and Kwiato are up the front again and WC stripes are fresh :)

  • sagan just tore some legs off

(in case anyone's wondering where to watch it)

  • Good to see both WC's going at it on the cobbles.

  • Tejay squanders his lead, I hope you're all happy.

  • Thanks for that link, great last 10 km.

  • Valverde is a cycling god. Such dominance. Shame about his past.

  • Why does no-one query his present?

He's a convicted doper, and the worst kind who tried every possible trick to evade justice. Since returning from his ban he's continued to hold from for long periods of time, and race all season yet he seems to get a pass from the social media anti-doping crusaders who question Sky's every result. His team management have a long and established history of transgressions, so it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they and Valverde continued to be up to no good.

  • Not a classic E3 but great to see Gilbert looking so strong. Does his resurgence in the cobbled classics rule him out of performing in the Ardennes?

GVA seems to have the knack of getting in the winning move this year and he's hard to beat when he's there.

  • But her emails ..

  • Missing the break is becoming a bad habit for Sky.
And, according to Wiggins, 'marginal gains' are "a load of rubbish". How very dare he!

  • Getting mugged once is fine, but when it becomes a habit you have to wonder about the race sense of your team.

  • Yup, there's something missing there.

  • Not looking any better than expected for the Giro for either Thomas or Landa either.

  • It's funny though, Sky have already won Strade Bianche, Paris-Nice and Milan-San Remo so their spring has been a success irrespective of how they do at Catalunya and the cobbled classics. The standard they are judged against is high.

  • If I was Sky I'd be more worried if neither Thomas or Landa were showing any signs of form this far out from the Giro, so whilst their is work to do they are both looking in decent shape. Teams like Astana and Bahrain-Merida probably have more realistic concerns about the state of their Giro leaders (although Nibali rarely shows good form before his main goals).

  • It's like I've always said about Sky, a great classics team but hopeless in the stage races.

  • Landa abandoned today. Thomas looked ok a day or two back. I'd still have a friendly £5 bet with you though that he doesn't make the top 5 in the Giro.

  • Why does no-one query his present?

I don't care about social media keyboard warriors. He served his time and has trained every single day during his ban. At least that's his explanation. And if something's fishy I hope it will be found out. No matter if it's Movistar, Lotto-NL-Jumbo or Sky or any other team. Until then, I try to enjoy the racing.

  • Just turned Catalunya on, what's gone on?

  • Wow.

  • Would they have missed the break if Rowe was there?
