yeah it works with an inline, but the only inline post I own is currently holding another SMP (the recovered one I posted earlier) on my other road bike.

If you bring me a stripped shell (fnar), not much. It's pretty easy tbh

I've still got some dark green faux leather if you want.

If only they were in the SMP thread to read this.

Not sure how I managed that!

great! wish it had a minute more padding but the shape is great. more comfortable for me than the brooks cambium it replaced. seems like a really high quality item and very very subtle gub branding.
one thing to beware... the carbon rails have an oval cross section. my ritchey seatpost didnt fit it.

SMP Evolution for sale for £70 here. Not the deal of the century but not bad.

Any easy way to transfer the fore/aft position of my previous Fizik Arione to a new SMP lookalike?
Set the height and 2deg nose down angle over the week commuting and some pre work hills. I feel I might need more set back but could it be I need less nose down.
Just compared the two setups and a took a snap

Perfect, thanks!
Missed that bit while reading his other articles. To the amusement of the neighbours I was out earlier trying his 'cycle along and swing your arms behind your back and see what happens' fitting tip. -

Are you recovering a saddle? I used this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bostik-Purpose-Clear-Extra-Strong/dp/B00880VSC8

Oh yes please does it need to put glue on both side or just on the saddle?
How long does is takes til you can attach the fabric?

Personally I just put glue on the saddle, waited maybe like 30 seconds for it to dry a bit then held down the material for another couple of minutes. I did it in patches, so the flat areas first then went around the edge and glued about 4cm at a time so I could hold it where it folds under the saddle.
I've been desperately trying to avoid this but one day I feel it's inevitable. Surely yours could be made to work with an inline?
