My lips are sealed!!

• #204
Not fair!
-
• #205
This may well be the next project, albeit with SRAM Force probably...and Zipps!
@jakjakjak I blame you entirely...i now "need" a Ti frame to start building up!
-
• #206
Oh and gumwalls...cos they're my new favourite thing!
-
• #207
If you're going to go ti, you may as well go Lynskey Helix...
-
• #208
Haha, you should be a salesman - just £2249 for the frameset!!
-
• #209
Yeah, it's a bargain considering nobody else has one in Norfolk... Also the mad helix, of course, gives mad gains.

This forum costs me a fortune....

There was a guy selling an Enigma ti build on the facebook classifieds a few weeks back
-
• #212
Oooooh just checked out their website! NICE!
Fingers crossed the taxman doesn't steal too much from me next week...
-
• #213
You can buy me a new bike if you're itching for a new project. Honestly it's cool, I don't mind at all..
-
• #214
Haha, lfgss loan shark!?
-
• #215
Haha, A bit like that, although this next build is going to clear you out, Not sure if you'll be able to hide a second mortgage from Mrs. H! ;)
-
• #216
Yes and no...I'm sorely tempted to get rid of my company car to save on tax and get myself fitter - waiting for the bad weather to make this decision was perhaps unwise!
Just had a chat to a guy at Enigma and could be sorely tempted by the Echo...

God you really don't waste any time do you?! You do realise that if you get a ti roadie you'll have to get a ti track bike and mtb right? It's practically a law
-
• #218
Rode the Dynamo with a friend who was on his Ti Burls. Are you ready for the "ti twang" at random times? Freaked me out a bit initilly as I thought that I'd popped a spoke.
-
• #219
Read that as 'ti wang' when I realised my mistake I lost interest
-
• #220
I think with me hovering around 100kg I'd rather the ti twang than the carbon creak!!
-
• #222
But...the Enigma is made in England and I spoke to one of their frame builders this afternoon, which I like!!
-
• #223
Fatbirds are local too though - Norfolk I believe - so you'd be doing them a favour too!
All this aside, you really don't need an Ti road bike...
-
• #224
Hmmmmm decisions decisions

The Thought process was that if I bought a Ti frame I really wouldn't ever need to buy another...there is method in my madness occasionally
@Keppel A very nice collection by the sounds of it! I'm forcing myself to stick to a 'sensible new car' for the next year or so while I save for a house deposit :( Did spot my old mk2 for sale on ebay the other day, was tempted to say the least..
I picked up a cool book a few months ago all about old VW's and all of the strange prototypes they did and all the aftermarket parts that Votex, Reiger etc did for them. Some mad stuff!
