Realise = someone text him...

Yeah they have the rigs, I find their site a bit hard to navigate and find the latest posts. There is so much content on there.

Normally see it on twatter

Outside help?!

It's weird. It's not a reroute, so not like he had an old route by accident. So how do you go the wrong way for so long. He'd slept before the error too.
-
• #1057
Oh his tracks have confusing names and he loaded the wrong one...
-
• #1058
Seems like Manu and Josh are riding together. Weird choice.

I thought when I looked yesterday they were quite far apart, this morning they're closer. What makes you say that?

I've always felt that somone at the front should put their ride beyond reproach.
-
• #1068
My point is how do you have confusingly named files?
-
• #1069
Oh yeah. I do that X1 etc. Then when finished a file delete them. But hey ho
-
• #1070
Exactly. It's not rocket science.

I looked on street view yesterday and there is a little shop down the road Sofiane detoured on. Maybe it was for that? I'm not following this or TABR too closely other than checking the dots.

If ‘racing in the company of other challengers is tolerated’ he’s not doing anything wrong is he?
-
• #1073
Maybe but tolerated means disliked. And if your racing for a top place you need to be above repute. Also at the top of the page it says solo.
I emailed them to ask as it is ambiguous. But again, if you're racing for a time don't be great.

What's going on over there? Saw something through my haze of IPAs last night that loads of people are getting rescued...

https://bikepacking.com/news/chaos-on-the-2022-tour-divide/
"at least 10 riders were rescued by local search and rescue"
Mate: "It was forecast before the start. A few guys were writing about it in the Facebook group. Sofiane hasn’t taken any sleeping gear, lucky he is so dam fast and got thru before it arrived."
" Sparwood had an evacuation alert and Fernie was on flood warning - information readily available on weather websites and news. I believe Fernie SAR is up to 15 rescues on the Divide as of tonight, diverting helicopters and volunteers from flood monitoring and taking care of their own properties. SAR posted on Divide FB groups asking riders to wait for the storm to pass but the message was either not received or ignored."
Thanks for bumping. I've heard bugger all about this edition too. Normally I'd have seen a bikepacking.com rigs of TD post or something. Maybe it's in progress or I missed it.
