I don't tend to drink much in the way of fizzy drinks but I have developed a soft spot for Fanta Lemon every so often

If you're ever in SE Asia try 100 Plus and / or Pocari Sweat, they're pretty similar, taste mildly grapefruity, both are isotonic whatever that means, bloody good on a hot day...

Also, while initially they seemed a bit insipid I grew to like Bionade while living in Germany, various flavours, quite tart, but v.refreshing, get some.

100 plus was quite nice, I thought Pocari sweat tasted as bad as the name suggested

Had some Sugar Cane Juice in a can once.
Thought it might be an interesting beverage. I was so very wrong.

When I was a kid on holiday we'd get fresh sugar cane juice pressed there and then and served out of plastic bags, slightly grassy but delicious.

Did you try the carbonated Pocari Sweat? I thought it was v.similar to 100 Plus...

It could have been the still one maybe now I think about it. It was in a bottle rather than can.

Can't believe there's a fizzy juice thread and I didna know about it.
Laranjada (fizzy drink from Madeira) is great. Very sweet, very orangey.
You can buy it in some Portuguese delis here.

Shit new favourite thread!
I recently tried this after a Lithuanian co worker purchased some for me to try.
It's 'gira' bread drink and genuinely tastes like brown, fizzy, cold bread.
She thought it was great, I thought it was gross.
On a genuine note.
Laimon Fresh kills it at the moment for me.

Did anyone have a local pop man that delivered fizzy pop in glass bottles that you returned? Traditional dandelion and burdock was my favourite.
My mum would do a massive order for Christmas which would always include a couple of bottles of cream soda, bloody awful stuff would stay in the cupboard till next Christmas!

^ we had Alpine pop delivered - 12p a bottle standard, 15p a bottle for premium - pineappleade was lush - used to be 2p deposit on the bottles
