this has been done also in finland. to an enve fork.. =D
and the finished product
apparently it has held up for some time now

• #155
That's seriously cool, Laner. Excited to see it finished.
-
• #156
What was the final cost of the forks all in, if you don't mind me asking?
-
• #157
350 for the fork and 100 for the rack/mudguard/internal routing modifications
-
• #158
Seems very reasonable for the work done.
-
• #159
^^thanks.
The work seems like a reasonable price, especially compared with similar work in steel. I guess you've still got respray costs ontop, but at least in your case you'll be having the frame done anyway.

Paint is happening on this next week. Didn't get the frame in hand til wednesday, and by then I'd already started on another job I'm afraid.
Should be back to Matt next weekend. -

A transfer gilet and a toothbrush are not exactly heavy.

Then why put a rack on? Stick em the jersey pocket!
I'm just chatting with Matt about this - personally I'm unhappy about using the mudguard mount for the rack.
I'd rather that you have my 3T Luteus fork, it be adapted by LCR (I'll take it over there myself on Saturday), and I'll source something else (likely another Luteus) when the insurance pays out.
